Frosty Winter screenshot

About this mod

Simulates winter environment and weather conditions for American Truck Simulator.

Features

  • Winter weather and environment
  • Snow instead of rain
  • Winter vegetation and road textures
  • Snowy roofs
  • Winter daylight hours and temperatures
  • Winter wheel spray
  • Pedestrians in winter clothing
  • Out of sight vegetation LOD transitions
  • Less visible low LOD vegetation and reduced vegetation pop-in
  • Grass rendered at a further distance
  • Smoother graphics

Notes

  • Yellow and green areas visible in some locations are terrain painted by map editors; setting grass density to high covers most of this.
  • Tunnels appear without snow as they are models covering normal roads.
  • Some areas cannot be free of snow because assets are shared throughout the map.

Important

  • This is a winter weather and graphics mod. Using other weather, graphics, or lighting mods may cause conflicts, crashes, or affect intended visuals.
  • Frosty should be placed at the top in Mod Manager. Place any optional addons above the main mod.
