The Sylvan Warden - A Druidic Barbarian

About this mod

The Sylvan Warden functions as a protector of the natural realm, utilizing a connection to nature to alternate between Rages and a calm state called Quietude, which allows for Druidic spellcasting. This subclass is adapted from the homebrew by Benjamin Huffman.

Features by level

• Level 3: Gain spell slots and spells matching the Eldritch Knight rate, using Wisdom as the casting stat. Focus on Transmutation and Conjuration spells from the Druid list. At levels 3, 8, 14, and 20, learn a spell of any school from the Druid list.
• Quietude: An alternate form of Rage. While active, default Rage melee and physical resistance boosts do not apply. Instead, Druid spells deal bonus damage equal to your Rage Damage bonus, you gain resistance against spell damage, and you have advantage on Concentration saves. Quietude ends if your turn finishes without casting a spell or concentrating on one.
• Level 6: Bonus action to switch between Rage and Quietude without consuming a Rage Charge. Duration is not extended when switching.
• Level 10: Warden's Respite, usable once per Short Rest. When entering Rage or Quietude, extend resistances to allies within 3m for 10 turns.
• Level 14: Use an action and spell slot to heal an ally within 4.5m, curing Blinded, Poisoned, or Paralysed conditions. Quietude restores 1d12 + Wisdom modifier hit points; Rage provides equivalent temporary hit points. Higher spell slots target additional creatures.
