Florrick Is Not Dumb

About this mod

In Act III of Baldur’s Gate 3, if Wyll breaks his pact with Mizora, she attempts to ruin his reputation through slander. This leads to an encounter in the Lower City where a member of the elite accuses Wyll of murdering his father. The base game uses Counsellor Florrick for this scene, even if the party recently rescued her, making her appear naive for believing a devil. The game contains a fully prepared alternative NPC, Cordula Eltan, who usually appears only if Florrick is dead or imprisoned.

Features

• Always replaces Florrick with Cordula Eltan in Wyll’s Act III accusation scene, regardless of Florrick’s status.
• Eliminates the immersion-breaking inconsistency of Florrick trusting Mizora’s lies after being rescued.
• Restores narrative coherence by using Cordula, a neutral city official with no prior connection to the party.
• The confrontation plays out exactly as intended with no other changes.
