True Third-Person Camera

About this mod

This mod provides an enhanced over-the-shoulder third-person camera. It features a dynamic combat camera, customizable camera presets, automatic offsets for characters and creatures, split-screen support, and full MCM configuration.

Features

• Close Camera Toggle: One button switches between over-the-shoulder and far view. Pitch adjusts automatically between views. Shoulder swap is available.
• Camera Tracking: Camera stays tightly attached to movement without drifting.
• Immersive Close Combat: Automatically switches between a farther diagonal angle for action selection and a close-up horizontal angle during combat events. Requires enabling Dynamic Combat Camera and Follow Flying Creatures in gameplay settings.
• Camera Presets: Built-in presets and support for custom user-created JSON presets.
• New MCM Menu: Tabs for Global, Close Camera, Combat Camera, and Far Camera settings with real-time slider updates.
• Auto Camera Offsets: Automatically adjusts height and distance based on character size for wild shapes and summons.
• Split-Screen Support: Independent camera states for both players.

Configuration

Controls are rebindable in the MCM. By default, toggle uses Numpad * on keyboard or X/Square on controller. Shoulder swap uses Numpad / or B/Circle on controller.
