About this mod

This mod introduces the Pugilist class to Baldur's Gate 3, a streetfighter archetype focused on unarmed strikes and improvised weaponry. The class features eight distinct subclasses and a unique Moxie resource system.

Features

  • Light armour proficiency, simple weapons, and hand crossbows.
  • Unarmed strike and Pugilist weapon damage dice scale from 1d6 to 1d12 by level 17.
  • Moxie resource: Recharges on short rest, used for bonus action attacks and defensive maneuvers.
  • Subclasses: Bloodhound Bruiser, Dog & Hound, Hand of Dread, Mailed Fist, Piss & Vinegar, Street Saint, The Sweet Science, and Squared Circle.
  • Unique mechanics: Dig Deep exhaustion system, Brace Up temporary hit points, and magical unarmed strikes at level 6.

Compatibility

  • Conflicts may occur with other mods altering base unarmed damage. Use the Passives submenu on the toolbar to toggle Pugilist damage dice off if needed.
  • If animations fail, move AnimationUnlocker to the bottom of the load order, just above Compatibility Framework.
  • Squared Circle requires the Grappling Extension mod to function.

Requirements

  • Grappling Extension (required for Squared Circle subclass)
