Passive Boost Deduplicator screenshot

About this mod

Features

  • Removes boosts from any character that were improperly duplicated by the game as they are created.
  • Accounts for valid duplication scenarios, such as having the same passive multiple times or a passive that intentionally creates several similar boosts.
  • Debug logs are enabled due to the lack of an in‑game interface; logging is kept to a minimum and remains performant.

Requirements

  • Baldur's Gate 3 (any recent version). No additional dependencies.

Installation

  • Place the mod folder into the game's Mod directory or install via the mod manager.
  • Activate the mod; no special load order is required.
  • Safe to install and uninstall at any point.

Configuration

  • No user‑configurable options. Debug output can be viewed in the game's log file (typically located in the Logs folder).

Compatibility

  • Load order is irrelevant; the mod can coexist with other Script Extender (SE) mods.

Known issues

  • The duplication scenario is uncommon, so the mod may not fire frequently.
  • Without an interface, the only feedback is the minimal log file; users must manually inspect it to see which boosts were deleted.

Changelog

  • Initial release.
