About this mod

Restores the appearance of the bars in the Stats and Skills Menu to their intended appearance exactly as they appeared in Patch 2.0.

This very small mod restores the appearance of the bars in the Stats and Skills Menu to their intended appearance, with better transparency and “tick marks.” This is the way these bars appeared in Patch 2.0.

In Patch 2.1 onwards, CDPR made an incorrect edit to a UI file that caused these bars to lose their tick marks and take on an appearance that made it almost impossible to see the current value indicator on the bar.

Impacts the Level and Street Cred bars on the Stats Menu, and the Skills bars on the Skill Progression Menu.

Installation

  • Install as normal using a Mod Manager or by placing the contents of the .zip archive into your Cyberpunk 2077 installation directory.

Requirements

  • No other mods required.

Uninstallation

  • Simply remove the files. Because it is only a UI change, your save game will not be impacted.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Cyberpunk 2.3+. May be compatible with versions as old as Patch 2.1 (untested).
  • Due to the simplicity of this mod, should be compatible with nearly everything.
  • If you use Always Best Quality, load this mod before it.
  • No translation needed; compatible with all languages.

Technical details

  • Updates fullscreen_elements.inkatlas to resample another part of the image atlas in order to create a 2‑pixel‑wide, 8‑pixel‑high tick mark with 42 pixels of transparency to the right. The incorrect inkatlas used in Patch 2.1 onwards lacked the transparent pixels to the right, causing the visual error.
