Custom HUD (Continued) screenshot

About this mod

Custom HUD transforms the in-game interface into a drag-and-drop editor. Enter edit mode to reposition, scale, resize, reorder, or hide any element including health, ammo, abilities, portraits, and boss bars. Layouts save and restore automatically per session.

Requirements

  • Darktide Mod Framework

Installation

  • Install using Darktide Mod Framework and enable it in the mod list.
  • Upgrading: Delete old saved settings and use /reset_hud or the Reset HUD option to prevent positioning issues.

Features

  • Move, scale, and resize HUD elements.
  • Depth control for layer order.
  • Multi-select editing.
  • Pixel-perfect Info Panel for manual coordinate adjustment.
  • Grid and element snapping with on-the-fly inversion using Ctrl.
  • Global HUD opacity and hide toggle.
  • Per-element persistence.

Getting Started

  • Press F3 to toggle edit mode and F2 to hide the full HUD (keys are rebindable).
  • Use the Info Panel to manage elements.
  • Stash elements to reduce editor clutter, hide them from the active HUD, or use the Ignore list for elements you never want to move.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with HUD elements added by other mods.
  • Alf's DMF Extensions is optional; using it splits settings into General and Colors tabs.
