About this mod

Real Train Sounds by Cip replaces the vanilla train audio with authentic locomotive noises. As you draw near a railway crossing you’ll hear a true‑to‑life horn, the low rumble of the engine and the clank of the barriers.

Features

Realistic electric and diesel engine sounds.
Individual horn and engine tones for models such as M62, CC47E, G16, ChME3 and more.
Separate wheel sounds for cargo, passenger and high‑speed trains.
Authentic brake squeal and extra ambient train noises.
Slightly more cars per locomotive for a richer convoy.
Country‑specific level‑crossing audio, with multiple random variants in some nations.
Added mover sounds for trains and harvesters.
