The Shoreline of Lake Michigan

About this mod

Features

• Fictional map modeled on the north‑west tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula, with sandy soils along the lake.
• Terrain includes steep hills that make forestry challenging.
• 43 fields spread over 113 purchasable farmlands.
• Farm options: a crop‑farm starter (pre‑planted alfalfa strip), three dairy farms (one includes water‑buffalo pasture), and a rustic farm built from older‑style structures.
• 23 production and sell points: bakeries, bee‑garden (with player‑placed honey pallet trigger), canning factory, dairy plant, fruit stand, grain mill, piano manufacturer, animal traders, gas station, warehouse, vehicle dealer, etc.
• New plantable crops: alfalfa, clover, green rye, spelt, silage maize, triticale, winter barley (usable as livestock feed).
• Row‑crop system, stubble destruction, ground deformation, extra paintable textures for realistic field behavior.
• Custom calendars, sunrises, very dark nights, tornado events, and a custom lighting scheme reflecting harsh Michigan climate.
• Livestock purchase ages: dairy cattle at 24‑ or 28‑months, goats at 13‑months.
• If the Highlands pack is owned, a non‑sellable boat appears on the lake for host fishing or cruising.
