MAZ 8x8 Missile Launcher System

About this mod

Technical Characteristics

• Platform rides on a beefy MAZ 8×8 chassis, a multi‑axle all‑wheel‑drive vehicle built by the Minsk Automobile Plant.
• Capable of hauling massive loads and traversing mud, snow, or rocky terrain.
• Tilting rear frame carries two large tactical missiles, each with a distinctive red‑tip warhead.
• Forward armored cab is roomy, featuring angled windows and observation panels for road travel and battlefield spotting.
• Heavy‑duty diesel engine and reinforced axles provide ample power and keep the vehicle rock‑steady during movement and launch preparation.

Tactical Utility and Operational Doctrine

• Designed for deep‑strike missions against high‑value static targets, command posts, or infrastructure from long range.
• Wheeled mobility enables “shoot‑and‑scoot” tactics, allowing crews to relocate off roads or open tracks to avoid retaliation.
• Intended for integration into mechanized combat formations as a long‑range deterrent that combines firepower with rapid repositioning.
