Visible udders fill with milk during grazing for cows, goats, and water buffalo. Young animals and meat breeds are excluded. Cows require a milking robot to transfer milk to the barn tank at the next full hour. Milk is then collected with a tanker trailer. Goat milk fills the barn tank directly to form pallets for front loader collection. Excess milk remains in the udders if the barn tank or pallets are full.
