Realistic Soil & Fertilizer

About this mod

Fixed: sprayers and spreaders

• Overlap now blocks double‑spraying; tank stays full, no extra cost.
• Coverage % works correctly even with switched‑off boom sections or multi‑tank rigs.
• Smart Sensor, See & Spray and Variable Rate read each boom section individually.
• Herbicide only affects sprayed sections; weeds no longer count as pressure.
• Lime spread by Streumaster FW 212 TD Profi and Bredal K105 uses real width; headland slivers respected.
• AUTO rate no longer errors on unknown pH.

Fixed: fields, soil and harvest

• Nutrient‑depleted fields yield less again when Experimental Systems are off.
• New fields join the soil simulation instantly; sold fields leave it.
• Tillage and amendment burn now respect organic matter and ignore cut/flattened crops.
• Mud physics and Seasonal Crop Stress correctly affect compaction.
• Harvest yield correction applies only to grain delivered.

Fixed: multiplayer and servers

• Incremental soil‑map sync removes server stutter.
• Treatments are validated server‑side; only your own or contracted fields can be treated.
• Sync works with maps over 32 fields.
• Farm‑dog sick‑barn warning now limited to the owning farm and works with Realistic Livestock 1.4.

Fixed: interface and translations

• French‑Canadian texts corrected, missing translations filled, HUD labels fixed.
• DAP/AN big‑bag labels show, multi‑buy pricing fixed, drain‑vehicle refunds work.
• Field info box now shows amendment‑burn risk, drilling advisory and current yield.
• Keyboard defaults no longer clash; help keys display correctly.

Added

• Early farm‑dog warning for sick animals.
• Soil ESC page with continuous pH map, resistance overlay, GPS‑outlined field list and sleep status.
• Hand‑held soil test kit displaying N‑P‑K and pH.
• Reskinned Soil HUD matching base game, toggleable and resizable; Control Center actions and Farm Tablet ppm readout.
• Lime and pH products affect only the actually sprayed area.

Experimental Systems (off by default)

• AUTO sprayer meters N‑P‑K against crop need, pauses when no crop, shows target windows.
• Ground material (hay, grass, straw) retains age/wetness through tedding, baling, etc.; integrates with Stock Guard.
• Foundations laid for local crop disease.

Features

• Per‑field soil health (N, P, K, organic matter, pH)
• Realistic fertilizer types and sprayer‑rate control
• Yield penalties from nutrient deficits, pests, weeds and disease
• Live Soil HUD & map overlay, PDA soil report
• Multiplayer support, 26 languages

Controls

• Open Settings: Shift + O
• Sprayer rate up/down: assignable in cab
• Toggle HUD / open Soil Report: assignable keys
