This mod enhances the stealth-archer playstyle in KCD2 with a grounded approach that fits naturally into the game’s realistic combat. The goal is to make silent ranged combat more practical and rewarding without introducing exaggerated or overpowered effects.
The Realistic main file focuses on subtle, believable tweaks to key stealth and archery perks. It strengthens the playstyle just enough to make stealth archery viable while still keeping the game’s difficulty and immersion intact. For players who prefer a more casual experience, an optional Stealth Archery (Skyrim-style) version is included. This older variant applies stronger perk buffs and offers a looser, more forgiving interpretation of stealth archery.
In the base game, stealth archery felt underwhelming—bonuses were small, and landing a successful sneak shot rarely paid off. This mod refines several perks so silent ranged combat becomes more dependable. Plan your shot, stay hidden, and strike before enemies react.
