Crossbow Remains Cocked screenshot

About this mod

Crossbows remain cocked after being stored or placed into the inventory, increasing efficiency for the subsequent shot. Once cocked, the weapon stays in a ready state until a bolt is loaded and fired.

Installation

  • Place the mod files into the Kingdom Come - Deliverance II/mods folder.
  • If the mods folder does not exist, create it within the KCD2 installation directory.

Compatibility

  • This mod does not use PFT. It modifies the weapon_class.xml file and will be incompatible with any other mod changing the same file without a manual merge.

Known issues

  • Occasionally, if a crossbow is stored while cocked with a bolt already loaded, the first bolt fired after drawing the weapon may appear invisible. This resolves itself after firing.
