About this mod

This mod removes the decision timer from all cutscene dialogue, allowing you to take your time making choices without the pressure of an hourglass timer. It also removes decision timers from all DLC content.

Technically, this mod removes the TimeLimit property from all decisions within dialogue files that are not categorized as "chat" dialogues. "Chat" dialogues—those that do not fade into a formal cutscene and sometimes include automatic fallbacks if no response is given—have been left unedited to avoid interfering with NPC or quest behavior.

Compatibility

194 dialogue files in Scripts.pak (Scripts > Quests > Final) were edited, totaling over 300 decisions. If using other mods that edit dialogue files, use a mod manager like Vortex to set your preferred load order.

Installation

  • Vortex (recommended): Ensure the KCD2 Vortex Extension is installed, then select "Mod Manager Download".
  • Manual: Extract the folder "kelo_no_timed_decisions" to the "Mods" folder within your Kingdom Come: Deliverance II game directory. If the Mods folder does not exist, create it.
