Mod Limit Fix screenshot

About this mod

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has a mod limit of approximately 130 folders, which often crashes the game if exceeded. This issue is unrelated to mod conflicts, errors, memory, or software limitations; it occurs because the game engine crashes when it detects too many subfolders within the mods directory. These folders are added to the mod order text file, and exceeding the limit causes a hard crash upon launch.

Requirements

  • KCSE
  • Address Library

Installation

  • Follow standard installation procedures as required by the dependencies.

Known issues

  • The limit threshold fluctuates but generally triggers around 130 subfolders regardless of whether they contain actual mod files.
