MH Wilds Save Editor screenshot

About this mod

A save editor for Monster Hunter Wilds that does not require the game to be running. It operates via the mhtame-gui executable or a web-based interface.

Features

  • Transfer saves between accounts by loading with one Steam ID and saving with another.
  • Copy save slots to different slots.
  • Edit save file data (use caution, as some values can prevent loading).
  • Reset character and Palico edit ticket usage.
  • Unlock weapons, armor, and items by setting flags in ace.Bitset objects.
  • Recover data from corrupted saves.
  • Lua scripting support (experimental).
  • Open multiple files simultaneously.

Installation

  • Unzip the files.
  • Run the mhtame-gui executable.
  • Provide your Steam ID and select the target save file. Save files are typically located in the Steam userdata directory under 2246340/remote/win64_save/data001Slot.bin.
  • Apply changes and save.
  • Copy the output file back to the original save location.

Known issues

  • Editing save data carries risks, such as losing online-related data (friends, squads, rankings).
  • Recommended workflow is to test changes in offline mode using the most recent online-synced save.
  • When copying saves between accounts, set HunterId and HunterShortId to blank.

Changelog

  • v0.1.5-0.1.7: General fixes and improved corruption recovery.
  • v0.1.5: Multi-file support, Lua scripting, and manual corruption repair methods.
  • v0.1.4: Enhanced Bitset handling for equipment and items, improved search filters, and auto-detection of Steam paths.
  • v0.1.3: Added simple searching, item box and Artian parts editing, and enum translations.
