Divergent Sister Zero screenshot

About this mod

An overhaul collaboration mod that adds Divergent Sister Zero from NieR Re:Incarnation to NieR:Automata. This mod replaces 2B with Zero and Pod 042 with Mikhail from Re:Incarnation. For Zero's Black Flower Sword, visit nyori_oli's mod page.

This mod has only been made to support Steam and DLC versions of the game.

Features

  • Massive rework of model and textures as of version 1.2.
  • The Flower is optional (disabled if the camo blindfold is enabled).
  • DLC costume support added as of version 1.2.

Requirements

  • File Size Limit Patch may be needed to fix game loading with a white error message box.

Installation

  • Download the mod.
  • Navigate to your NieRAutomata game directory (e.g., \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata\).
  • Unzip to this directory, merging the \data\ folders.

Uninstallation

  • Remove the pl000d.dat and pl000d.dtt files from \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata\data\pl\.
  • Remove wp3000.dat and wp3000.dtt files from \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata\data\wp\.

Compatibility

  • Does not require FAR.
  • May not be compatible with other mods that replace pl000d files or edit 2B's textures.
  • The mod aims for the Black Dress and supports DLC costumes as of 1.2.

Known issues

  • Full skirt support like 2B's is not present due to the limited rig of 2B and her animations, along with the skirt's modeling. Custom rig support for modding would be required for a grander revisit.
  • 2B's animations cannot be edited at this point; what is seen is from the base game.
  • Porting physics from A2's long hair is not possible in a satisfactory and non-glitchy way.
  • Modding Zero's voice lines is not possible.
  • No nude version when self-destructing.
