Weapon FOV ADS (UE4SS) screenshot

About this mod

Dynamic weapon FOV mod that automatically zooms your weapon in or out while aiming. It fixes scopes with poor sight visibility without permanently squishing weapon FOV or zooming the entire world. Every scope and weapon can be configured with individual zoom levels.

Installation

  • Download the mod and open your game directory at ...\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64.
  • Extract the zip file contents directly into the Win64 folder.
  • If using other UE4SS mods, move them into the /Mods folder within this installation, as this mod requires the experimental release of UE4SS.

Configuration

  • Delete any existing config.json file when upgrading to version 4.0.0.0 due to schema breaking changes.
  • To use the console, open UE4SS-settings.ini and set ConsoleEnabled to 1.
  • Use the following in-game keys to adjust settings:
  • F4: Save current settings to config.json.
  • F5: Select adjustment mode.
  • F6: Print current values to console.
  • F7/F8: Lower/Raise values based on the selected mode.

Notes and limitations

  • Modded weapons work partially; they function flawlessly if they follow the game's default structure.
  • Custom material mods on weapon geometry may misalign while aiming.
  • If you aim before the HUD appears, the mod will not trigger until the next ADS event.

Known issues

  • Crashes on startup are often caused by the Epic Games Overlay; disable it or add the relevant configuration to Engine.ini.
