Ready or Custom - Mission Editor Expansion screenshot

About this mod

Ready or Custom 2.5 expands the Ready or Not Mission Editor by exposing 315 documented controls for suspects, civilians, SWAT AI, weapons, and mission rules. It organizes settings into readable sections and includes a Control Center utility for managing profiles, weapon pools, and exact values. The mod does not modify game core files but allows for the creation and reuse of highly customized mission configurations.

Features

  • 315 advanced Mission Editor controls across five categories: Player, SWAT AI, Suspects, Civilians, and Mission.
  • 331 total visible basic and advanced controls.
  • 165 selectable numeric interval pairs replacing generic difficulty buttons.
  • Ten independent door-trap position choices (Alarm, Tower Alarm, Flashbang, Explosive, Toxic Gas in Lower or Upper positions).
  • Included ReadyOrCustomControlCenter2.5.exe for profile management, backup creation, and weapon registry editing.
  • Localized help text and guidance in 12 languages.

Requirements

  • Ready or Not Mission Editor.

Installation

  • Download the desired language archive.
  • Extract and copy the PAK file to ReadyOrNot/Content/Paks.
  • Remove any older versions of the mod before launching the game.
  • Use the Control Center utility separately to manage custom profiles.

Compatibility

  • Incompatible with other mods that replace the Mission Builder modifiers screen, configuration pages, or the Advanced Mission Editor navigation.

Known issues

  • Does not allow editing of map geometry, navigation meshes, or audio.
  • Trap placement relies on map-specific support; the editor cannot add traps where none exist.
  • Extreme population values may lead to performance degradation or unstable mission layouts.

Changelog

  • 2.5: Introduced 10 independent door-trap position choices, unified version branding, and updated profile management in the Control Center.
