Rekindle - A Kent and Jodi Event Expansion screenshot

About this mod

Features

  • 12 new events: 4 for Kent, 3 for Jodi, 5 for Kent & Jodi together.
  • Post‑event schedule changes for Jodi and Kent, allowing them to visit friends, spend couple time, and pursue hobbies.
  • Over 140 lines of new schedule‑based and post‑event reaction dialogue.
  • Post‑event vanilla dialogue edits to reflect character growth.
  • A new part‑time job for Kent.

Installation

  • Can be installed in an existing save, preferably before meeting Kent (Year 1) or before reaching 6‑heart status with Jodi/Kent.
  • Content does not start until Kent’s 3‑heart “Therapy” event is seen; each subsequent event triggers after a specified time interval (see Event Guide).

Requirements

  • Requires “Kent Gets Therapy - 3 Heart Event Edit”.

Compatibility

  • Jorts and Jean the Helper Cats: therapy event will also require the J&J side event and adjusts dialogue accordingly.
  • Kent Does the Dishes: schedule edits adjust to its changes and work seamlessly.
  • Canon‑Friendly Dialogue Expansion: edits some of its dialogue lines for Jodi, Kent, and Sam after appropriate events.
  • Diverse Stardew Valley and No More War – Kent as Journalist: compatible; no direct mention of Kent’s role in Gotoro.
  • Part of a Saloon Breakfast: schedule adjustments account for its Kent (the) Cook event and Rekindle’s Job Offer/Ladies’ Day events.
  • No More Floor Fish: recommended to improve Jodi’s vanilla 4‑heart event writing.
  • Stardew Valley Expanded: may be compatible, but no explicit compatibility added.

Content Warnings

  • Kent’s storyline includes mentions of PTSD, trauma recovery, and mental health struggles. The Camping Trip event includes an in‑event warning and can be skipped.
