About this mod

An extensive quest engine that allows for custom quest registration and control over vanilla help wanted quest weights. This framework provides a declarative way to add quests without requiring custom billboard, generator, reward, or consequence code.

Features

  • Multi-slot Help Wanted billboard: Configurable batch of quests per day.
  • Optional paginated Special Orders board: Adds arrow keys to scroll through generated orders.
  • Custom pin-boards: Allows mods to register boards at any tile in any location.
  • Bulletin notices: Custom pins that open text, news, or hints instead of quests.
  • Quality-aware deliveries: Quests can require Silver, Gold, or Iridium items.
  • Fish filters: Catch-by-location, size, and weather.
  • Shipping observer: Supports shipping quests with an opt-in bypass for furniture if Ship Anything is not installed.
  • Earn-money and Sell-to-shop quests: Tracks currency earned or items sold at specific shops.
  • Multi-step Adventure quests: Supports chains of Deliver, Talk, Gift, Slay, Build, and more.
  • Timed deliveries: Countdown timer in-game with friendship penalties for failure.
  • Report-back quests: Finalize quests by speaking to villagers with choice-based rewards.
  • Consequence engine: Quests can trigger Tier 1-3 reactions with a persistent dialogue queue.
  • Vanilla wrappers: Includes four tunable wrappers (ItemDelivery, ResourceCollection, SlayMonster, Fishing) via GMCM.
