ArmadaUI

About this mod

ArmadaUI is a rebuilt inventory interface for Starfield based on the updated vanilla Bethesda menu logic, focusing on a safer, compatible inventory overhaul.

Design goals

• Preserve compatibility with the current Starfield interface update
• Keep the inventory usable even when older StarUI-style renderer replacements are no longer safe
• Restore fast category navigation and a denser, more readable inventory layout

Scope in version 0.2:

• Inventory menu only
• No container menu overhaul
• No barter menu overhaul
• No full custom row renderer stack
• More compact inventory view
• Controller support

Features

• Inventory-only interface overhaul
• Left-side icon tab bar inside item view
• Direct category switching from item view without returning to the category screen
• Table-style item list with dedicated QTY, WT, and VAL columns
• Dynamic right-side compare column based on the active inventory context
• Two-line item name support for long names instead of forced ellipsis truncation
• Vertical centering for list values when item names wrap
• Aid sub-categories with icon tabs for MED, FOOD, DRINK, and ALL
• Improved Aid classification with explicit handling for drink and medical item names
• Safer implementation path built on the current vanilla InventoryMenu behavior
