About this mod

Makes the Scanner Station closer to the original Subnautica Scanner Room:

  • Much bigger scale (x2.5) of points cloud; all points are distinguishable, freeing more space around the station while keeping the room dark.
  • No clutter; central sphere, rings, and base light particles are similar to points.
  • Points are orange, as in Subnautica.
  • Signal widget is smaller and less blinding.
  • Station widget (screen) is x1.5 bigger, making it easier to determine the filter from a distance.

Works well with the vanilla 300m scanner, and performs even better with the Scanner Station Range Extender, as all points remain distinguishable with no mismatching range rings. Compatible with Scanner Assist for tracking multiple signals and fine-tuning.

Installation Extract 6 utoc/ucas/pak files from the archive to ...\steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Content\Paks\~mods. Create the ~mods folder if it does not exist.

Uninstallation Delete installed mod files from the ~mods folder.

Compatibility Compatible with anything not affecting Scanner Station BP and respective materials.
