About this mod

Performance-focused configuration preset for Subnautica 2, designed to improve frame rate stability and reduce micro-stutters on low to mid-range systems. It modifies engine-level rendering and scalability settings rather than gameplay content.

Features

  • Improves overall FPS stability
  • Reduces micro-stutters during movement and tool usage
  • Optimized frame pacing for smoother gameplay
  • Disables heavy UE5 features such as Lumen and volumetric effects
  • Reduces rendering and post-processing load
  • Adjusts texture streaming behavior for smoother loading

Target Systems

  • Low-end and mid-range PCs
  • GPUs similar to GTX 1650 or GTX 1060
