Ultimate Engine Tweaks screenshot

About this mod

This mod provides an optimized Engine.ini configuration file designed to minimize stuttering, enhance performance and stability, reduce input latency, and improve picture clarity. The configuration removes film grain and chromatic aberration, optimizes motion blur to reduce smearing, and improves DLSS/FSR upscaling and anti-aliasing to mitigate ghosting and shimmering, all without visual loss or crashes.

Installation

  • Run the game once and close it.
  • Choose between VRR (if G-Sync or FreeSync is enabled on your display and GPU control panel) or No VRR variants.
  • Steam/Windows: Paste the file into %localappdata%\Subnautica2\Saved\Config\Windows.
  • Microsoft Store/Xbox App: Paste into %localappdata%\Subnautica2\Saved\Config\WinGDK.
