Developer Area Enabler screenshot

About this mod

Native Subnautica 2 mod menu with player cheats, environment controls, dev‑area controls, map preloading and an Unreal console.

The main reason to install this mod is for a cheat menu on the experimental branch and because it is the only way to view the Developer Area. Simply activate layers 9, 10, 12 and go to the Scorpius Trenches. Settings are remembered upon reload.

Installation

  • Ensure you are using the experimental branch.
  • Delete/Backup all other mods and UE4SS as this mod almost certainly will not be compatible with your current mods.
  • Place dwmapi.dll in Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\.
  • Launch the game and use F2 to open the Mod Menu.

Uninstallation

  • Close the game.
  • Delete dwmapi.dll and the "Everything" folder from Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\.
