About this mod

Introducing a new craftable tool based on Subnautica BZ Mineral Detector. Configurable via Engine.ini.

It only scans for deposits and nodes (the breakable and resonatable).

Will not be compatible with mods that modified the same assets above.

Download and extract files from the archive to …\steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Content\Paks\~mods or Mods.

Delete all three files from the ~mods or Mods folder.

Download Engine.ini from the optional file section (skip if you already have a mod installing Engine.ini).
Extract or copy (or create a new) Engine.ini to C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Subnautica2\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini.
Make it editable: right‑click Engine.ini, select Properties, uncheck the Read‑only attribute, click OK.
If you already have Engine.ini with settings, add a new line and paste the provided contents (see example below).
Modify as you like.
Save.
Make it read‑only again so the game won’t delete the file: right‑click Engine.ini, select Properties, check the Read‑only attribute, click OK.

Example Config (same as provided optional file): WARNING: These lines are mandatory.
