About this mod

This mod restores missing critical effect animations for specific creatures. While some enemies are designed to be immune to effects like Aard or Axii, other monsters fail to play these animations due to broken game files.

Features

Fixed animations for Gargoyles, Silvans, Hims, Succubs, and wolves allied with werewolves.
Fixed Redbeard (Rumcajs) in the Land of a Thousand Fables, including an issue where he could not deal damage to Geralt.

Installation

Place the modFixCritEffAnim folder into your game's Mods folder.
Use 'Witcher Script Merger' if necessary to resolve mod conflicts.

Compatibility

Recommended to be used alongside 'NPC targeting priority and Axii fixes'.
Previously an optional component of 'Fixed and improved enemy categories'.

Affected files include numerous monster entities and quest-specific character templates across the base game, Hearts of Stone, and Blood and Wine expansions.
