About this mod

This mod provides an overhauled fast travel system with extensive configuration options for travel conditions, costs, and map visibility. It replaces the vanilla signpost-only system with customizable, lore-friendly travel mechanics.

Features

  • Fast travel from anywhere (optional, includes risky mode) or limited to signposts and harbors.
  • Toggle for cross-region travel at boundary points.
  • Automatically spawn/board boats at harbors.
  • Debug teleport system to access restricted areas like the Isle of Mists, Corvo Bianco, and other world variants.
  • Configurable travel costs based on distance and character level.
  • Dynamic map marker visibility (hides undiscovered locations, reveals POIs on discovery).
  • Realistic travel time scaling with distance and buff duration consumption.
  • Debug console command AllowFT(1) to override all restrictions.
  • Fixes vanilla bugs related to fast travel during quest epilogues and internal naming issues for grindstones/armorer's tables.

Requirements

  • The Witcher 3 (Next-Gen or Old-Gen).
  • Menu Organizer (recommended if using 10+ mods with in-game menus).
  • Mod Limit Fix (for Old-Gen v1.32/1.31).
  • Script Merger.

Installation

  • Use The Witcher 3 Mod Manager for automatic installation.
  • For manual install, extract to the game directory and manually update dx11/dx12 file lists if necessary.
  • Always run Script Merger after installation to resolve conflicts.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Brothers In Arms (ensure higher priority than BIA).
  • Requires specific compatibility patches for "All Quest Objectives On Map" and "Cinematic Fast Travel".
