Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains what data ModVault uses to provide accounts, community features and basic site functionality.
Account and community data
When you create an account, Supabase processes your email address, account identifier and display name. If you use them, ModVault also stores your avatar, favorites, ratings, comments, reports and saved download history. We use this data to operate those features and respond to moderation or support requests.
Local storage and essential technologies
ModVault uses browser local storage to keep an account session, a basic visitor identifier, local statistics and recently viewed mod data. These items support sign-in, favorites, ratings and site functionality. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data controls; doing so may sign you out or reset local preferences.
Service providers
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may process connection and security information. Supabase provides authentication, database and storage services. jsDelivr delivers a third-party JavaScript library used for the account features. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
External links
Download buttons can take you to third-party file hosts and source sites. Those sites are independent of ModVault and have their own privacy practices. Review them before downloading files or providing information.
Retention and your choices
Account and community data is kept while your account or contribution remains active, unless a longer period is needed for security, moderation or legal reasons. You can ask to access, correct or delete your account-related data by emailing us. Provider-side technical records are retained under the relevant provider’s own policies.
Advertising and future changes
ModVault does not currently run advertising tags or marketing cookies. If advertising or additional analytics are added, we will update this policy and use an appropriate consent solution before enabling technologies that require consent.
